My mission

I built ShrinkSnap to make image compression online fast, free, and genuinely private — no sign-up, no watermark, and no limit on how often you can use it. Why I built a browser-based compressor

Most online image compressors work by uploading your photos to a remote server, compressing them there, and sending the result back. That means your images — which may include personal photos, screenshots, or confidential business assets — leave your device and pass through someone else's infrastructure. ShrinkSnap takes a different approach: every JPG compressor, PNG compressor, and WebP converter feature runs entirely inside your web browser using modern JavaScript.
